With 4.5" Spring Shocks, which are miniature hydraulic shock absorbers with adjustable pre-load. This kit is used to convert from from the standard factory seat to a La Rosa solo seat. Just install the base plate to the frame and you’re ready for the installation of the solo seat. The steel base plate comes pre-assembled with the spring system. Complete with a pivoting mount bracket, to attach to the front side of the seat, and all other required mount brackets and hardware. Note: Designed to be used with La Rosa solo seats. Note: The angle of the Spring Shocks, which have 3/4" travel, should be at around 1 o’clock angle for correct spring action. Note: Not compatible with La Rosa 17-1/2" wide solo seats. For these seats it is advised to use the universal weld-on seat mounts available as 965797 (1/2" tall), 965857 (1" tall) or 965798 (1-1/2" tall).
